If i knew i couldnt fail, i would proceed to suceed. success would give me that boost to become even more responsible, determined, & driven to achieve all goals. also i would be in better positions to help others no fail at whateva they are tryin to pursue. All it takes is one act of random kindness and everything will fall into place.

I found that music publishers give up front advances to songwriters so that they can write songs throughout the year. Wow! An advance to do something I would love to do! That’s a blessing! Then I found that publishers mostly signed established artist. That’s disappointing. That leaves my talent to be an after thought. I’m certain I have what it takes to make millions, but…I’m not an ‘established’ artist.

If I knew I would not fail. I would find who I need to reach out to at the music publishing companies to obtain a publishing contract and obtain the contract. Write hit songs and make millions.

Oh, and I’m also a very gifted singer. I also dream of releasing an album as well.

I really like what you are doing here, because there is so much truth to what you are saying. I loved the Secret, and have tried to apply those principles consistently. However what I am finding is that I have made so many poor decisions in the past, I try and try, but can’t seem to relinquish my fear; it’s always there, although I can sometimes bury it. Also, it’s easy to say and do all these things when you’ve had some success, but much tougher starting out.

All my life I’ve wanted to write somgs, play the guitar and sing. Did I do these things? Yes until I got to college. THEN I went to law school because of ridiculous family pressure. Law school was the biggest mistake of my life!!! My whole soul went black until New World Publishing encouraged me with my writing a couple of years ago. I get to finally retire at the end of next year with a pension. I still look good but am getting a little long in the tooth to be singing and cannot play the guitar well anymore. The singing I think I csn still do, but it would just be for recording and trying to get other people to record and sing my songs. I’ll never stop writing because it is part of me, but at some point I have to make some money. I’ve already sunk a ton of money into NWP and Music Group 3 records with whom I have three contracts for single songs, and a fourth one I would like to sign but cannot afford to at this time. I have trouble with my attitude because I have to work for at least one more year to get my pension and I hate my work (legal)!!! On my day off I am extremely happy, positive, and productive. Then you mentioned sometihing the Secret doesn’t have the guts to mention—what if you just have bad luck??? The Secret says it is your fault, which I think is a little punitive and unrealistic. Thanks for letting me vent.

Thanks of your suggestion.

I have some problems with my goals description, but I follow the vision thinking, almost recable. Peace and love is what I want.

I have written 30 songlyrics, 2 books, able to play my Takamine guitar, sing tenor and have a Masterdegree in IT, been IT mangaer. Finace cries stopped my IT work, so I want to be a writer og an musican. My problem is that I am 41 years. Leonard Coehn was 28 when he changed from writer to musican. Is it possible…..

I will have a notable artist singing one of the songs I wrote by October of the year 2009. I plan to do this by copywriting every song I’ve ever written, then coming in contact with the different artist that I visualize sing each song. Futhermore I plan to find out who’s in charge at each record label and set up a meeting so that we may discuss what kind of songs artist are in the market for then I will utilize my creative artistic abilities to provide them with the lyrics needed to produce that song.

If I knew I could not fail I am certain that I would become bored with life. Part of life is pushing yourself to be your best at whatever you do, shoemaker or guitarist. When I start a new project, I set goals and try my best to be the best. If I was always the best without the effort or the fear of failing. What fun would it be to be the Best?

I must say it is an excellent question though!!!

IF I KNEW I COULD NOT FAIL I WOULD HELP EVEYONE IN THE WORLD IN NEED AND GIVE THEM FOOD, WITH DECENT HOUSING, EDUCATE THEM TO KNOW/LOVE, AND APPECIATE ONES SELF. SHOW THEM TO TREAT EVERYONE IN NEED THE SAME. BASICALLY I WOULD SAVE THE INNOCENT FROM HARM. PEACE.
